TERMS OF SERVICE

This website is operated by the Kiln Still team. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kiln Still. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).

SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

SECTION 2 - HANDCRAFTED NATURE & KILN-ALTERED VARIANCE

2.1 Natural Variance: You acknowledge that every Kiln Still piece is the result of a traditional Dragon Kiln wood-firing at 1,350°C. Due to the unpredictable nature of this ancient process—influenced by weather, air pressure, and natural pine wood ash distribution—variations in glaze tone, crystalline size, texture, subtle shrinkage, and natural "fire marks" are inherent characteristics of authentic wood-fired art, not defects. 2.2 Visual Representation: Product images are representative samples photographed under specific studio lighting. Ceramics may appear different under natural daylight versus warm indoor lighting. We do not accept returns or refund requests based on "slight color discrepancies" or "perceived uneven crystal distribution." By placing an order, you embrace the unique, non-replicable spirit of Dragon Kiln art.

SECTION 3 - INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, DUTIES & INSURANCE

3.1 Insurance & Damage: All orders are shipped with premium insurance. If your item arrives damaged, you must contact us at kilnstill8@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. You are required to provide clear photos of: (1) The damaged item; (2) The shipping label; and (3) The interior and exterior packaging. Failure to provide this evidence within the timeframe will void the insurance claim. 3.2 Duties and Taxes: For international orders, the customer is the importer of record. You are responsible for all import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees levied by your country. Kiln Still is not responsible for delays caused by customs. 3.3 Refusal of Delivery: If a package is returned or destroyed because the customer refuses to pay import duties or fails to collect the package, no refund will be issued.

SECTION 4 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice, reflecting the rarity and outcome of specific kiln firings. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

SECTION 5 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. Kiln Still is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

SECTION 6 - THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & LINKS

We may provide you with access to third-party tools (such as PayPal or Stripe) over which we neither monitor nor have any control. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, or transactions made in connection with any third-party websites.

SECTION 7 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & TRADE SECRETS

7.1 Copyright: All content on this site, including text, product designs, brand logos, imagery, and videos, is the exclusive property of Kiln Still. 7.2 Glaze Formula Protection: Our unique crystalline glaze formulas, inherited from the "Glaze King" lineage, are protected trade secrets. Purchasing products for the purpose of chemical analysis, reverse engineering, or any attempt to replicate our proprietary formulas is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.

SECTION 8 - PROHIBITED USES

In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others.

SECTION 9 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no case shall Kiln Still, our directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.

SECTION 10 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UK
